If flag U has been displayed as the preparatory signal, no part of a boat's hull, crew, or equipment shall be in the triangle formed by the ends of the starting line and the first mark during the last minute before her starting signal. If a boat breaks this rule and is identified, she shall be disqualified without a hearing and scored OCS, but not if the race is restarted or re-sailed or postponed or abandoned before the starting signal. This changes rule 26.

Ako je istaknuta zastava U u pripremnom signalu znači da nijedan dio trupa broda, posade ili opreme ne smije se nalaziti u trokutu kojeg čine startna linija i oznaka 1 u zadnjoj minuti prije signala starta. Ako jedrilica prekrši ovo pravilo i identificirana je od strane RO biti će diskvalificirana bez saslušanja i bodovati će se UFD, ali ako se start ponavlja jedrilica koja je prekršila ovo pravilo može startati u ponovljenom startu. Ovo mijenja RP 26.
Rule 30.3 is altered adding the follows: sail numbers will be displayed for at least 3 minutes. A long sound signal will be made when the numbers are initially displayed.
