About the club
Sailing Club Zvir was founded in 1951 in Hvar. It raises young sailors in the Optimist and ILCA classes, organises cruiser regattas round the Pakleni islands and Svetac, and since 1975 the International New Year's Regatta — one of the Adriatic's oldest winter regattas, bringing sailors from all over Europe to the Pakleni channel every December.
