Dear members of the ZSU of the Town of Hvar,
In view of the current developments in the coronavirus situation and the public protection measures being taken to prevent the spread of the virus, the Community of Sports Associations of the Town of
Hvar, at a telephone session held on 13.02.2020 at around 12:00, unanimously adopted a Decision to send this recommendation to all its member associations. All organisers of sports and other events in the area of the Town of Hvar are called upon to postpone all events until further notice. We have all
received certain instructions from the national federations on how to act in this extraordinary situation regarding the coronavirus. The recommendation of the Executive Board of the ZSU of the Town of Hvar is that from Monday 16.03.2020 we suspend all competitions and gatherings, as well as training of association members, until schools and kindergartens
return to normal operation. We call on the citizens of the Town of Hvar to act responsibly and to follow the instructions of the national civil protection headquarters, which has issued a series of announcements regarding the organisation
of everyday life.
The health and safety of citizens are the highest priority.
