2. PRAVILA:
The regatta will be governed by:
- Regatnim pravilima WS (RP), 2021-2024
- the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea,
- the Special Safety Regulations for Category 4 regattas.
- the Rulebook on Registration and Verification in Sailing
- the Notice of Race,
- the Sailing Instructions
- Obavijestima Regatnog odbora.
3. REGATTA CATEGORY
The regatta is Category 3.
4. REKLAMIRANJE
The regatta is Category "C" under the WS Advertising Code. Every boat must display advertising as required by the regatta organiser. Boats displaying their sponsor's advertising must have the permission of their national federation.
5. PRAVO SUDJELOVANJA
The regatta is open to all boats that hold a valid navigation licence, comply with the WS Special Safety Regulations for Category 4 regattas, 2021-2024, and, for boats under the HR flag, have a vignette issued by the HJS. Helmsmen must be verified with their national federations
6. ENTRIES AND ENTRY FEE
Entries are accepted EXCLUSIVELY electronically, online via the website www:jkzvir.hr until 09:00 on 04.11.2023. You must attach the registration sheet, a valid navigation licence, the helmsman's verification and the vignette number, and send them by e-mail to: prijave.paklena.regata@gmail.com,
ALL PARTICIPANTS PAY AN ENTRY FEE OF 50 € PER BOAT
7. RAZVRSTANJE
Before the skippers' meeting (04.11 at 10:00 ON THE HVAR WATERFRONT), the race committee will, based on the number of boats entered in the OPEN division, decide on dividing the entered boats into groups by LOA. The division into groups shall not be grounds for a protest. Boats entered in the NHP division will sail as a single group.
8. PROGRAMME AND VENUE
Saturday 04.11. 2023. START OF THE REGATTA
– competitor check-in and registration confirmation from 09:00–10:00 at the JK Zvir clubhouse
– planned start location and time – Hvar waterfront at 11:00, calculated distance approx. 10 NM
– time limit 15.00 h (finish in Hvar harbour)
– dinner for participants at 18:00 with an accompanying programme
– prize giving at 18:00 with dinner for participants
9. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The Sailing Instructions will be available on the www.jkzvir.hr The racing areas will be defined in the instructions.
10. SUSTAV KAZNI
A scoring penalty under rule 44.3 will apply. A boat that uses its engine between the preparatory signal and the finish of racing and does not inform the race committee will be disqualified from the entire regatta without a hearing. A boat that retires from racing and does not inform the race committee as soon as possible will be penalised as decided by the protest committee.
11. BODOVANJE
The Low Point System of Appendix A will apply
12. PRIVEZ
Regatta participants may use berths in Hvar, and at the club, free of charge
13. RADIO VEZA
Except in an emergency, a boat that is racing shall not transmit or receive radio communications that are not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones.
14. PRIZES
The overall winner of the regatta, as the best-placed boat, receives a trophy
Group winners receive trophies for first, second and third place.

15. ODRICANJE ODGOVORNOSTI
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. (Rule 4.) The organiser will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
