SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Paklena Regatta

JK Zvir - Hvar 04.11.2023

1. PRAVILA
   1. The regatta will be sailed under the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.
   2. The Sailing Instructions prevail in the event of a conflict between the notice of race and the sailing instructions.
   3. The following regulations of the Croatian Sailing Federation will apply: the Rulebook on Registration and Verification, and the Advertising Rulebook
2. CHANGES TO THE SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Any change to the sailing instructions will be posted by 09:15 on the day it takes effect, and any change to the schedule of races will be posted by 18:00 on the day before it takes effect.

1. ZASTAVA KLASE

The class flag will be K.

1. RACING AREA

The racing area will be the Pakleni islands.

1. KURS

The courses are shown in Appendices 1 and 2.

1. OZNAKE

The marks are defined in Appendices 1 and 2.

1. START

The starting line will be between the green lighthouse on the waterfront on the left and a red buoy on the right.

1. CILJ

The finishing line will be between the green lighthouse on the waterfront on the right and a buoy on the left.

1. TIME LIMITS

The time limit for the first race is 13:40 h, only in the event that a second race is planned.

If a second race is held, the time limit for the second race is 16:40 h.

If only one race is agreed at the skippers' meeting, its time limit is 15:00 h.

1. GRUPE

Boats will be divided into groups by length according to the table in Appendix 3.

1. SIGURNOSNI PROPISI

A boat that retires from a race shall notify the race committee as soon as possible.

1. RADIO KOMUNIKACIJA

While racing, a boat may transmit only to communicate with the race committee or for safety reasons. It shall likewise not receive information that is not available to all boats. This also applies to mobile telephones. Communication with the race committee will be on VHF channel 72.

1. PRIZES
2. As per the Notice of Race. The overall winner of the regatta as the fastest boat. Trophy Group winners receive trophies for first, second, third place (minimum three boats) Minimum two boats for a first-place trophy in a group

As per the Notice of Race.

1. ODGOVORNOST

Competitors take part in the regatta at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organiser accepts no liability for material damage, personal injury or death sustained before, during or after the regatta.

Start in the port between the red buoy and the green light - islet Gojca to port - islet Galešnik to starboard - Jerolim island to starboard (Ždrilo Stipanska passage) - Marinkovac island to port - (passage
